-The Parent Performance Summit™

What your child's school

cannot teach you

about your child's

performance.

Your child’s school teaches the syllabus. It cannot teach you what is happening inside your child — the beliefs, the fears, and the story they are running about themselves that determines whether all that teaching sticks. This half-day Saturday summit gives you that understanding — and the exact tools to use it.

D+ → Straight A's

“I was at rock bottom — D+ grades, no confidence, feeling hopeless. PPI transformed my entire mindset. I scored straight A’s in KCSE. My parents were the first people I called.”

Marvin Waweru

Architect · University of Nairobi

Last in class → Top of Kenya

“I was part of the bottom five. After PPI, I topped the entire nation in KCPE — 482 out of 500. My mother still cries when she tells the story.”

Calvin Nyakundi ·

Medical Doctor · Former National Top KCPE Scorer

Alliance Girls → 100%

“30 at-risk students. Two months. Every single one improved. The parents who saw those results said one thing: ‘Why didn’t we know about this earlier?’ That is why we built this Summit.”

-What Good Parents Get Wrong

The four things caring parents

do that quietly block their child.

"If you work harder, you'll get better grades."

A child who believes they are incapable will work harder and produce the same results — because the belief determines the ceiling, not the effort. Effort without identity change is exhausting and produces diminishing returns.

What actually works: Identity before effort

"I'll get you a better tutor."

Tutors add content to a container that may already be cracked. If the student doesn’t believe the content will help them — if they sit in the tutor session waiting for it to fail — no amount of additional content changes the trajectory. Fix the container first.

What actually works: Belief before content

"I am so disappointed in these results."

Disappointment from a parent whose approval a child desperately wants becomes confirmation of the child’s worst belief about themselves: “I am not enough.” That confirmation produces more of the same results. The emotion is understandable. The communication needs to be different.

What actually works: Curiosity before judgement

"Look at your cousin — she scored A's."

Comparison with a high-performing peer does not motivate. It confirms the identity gap. The child does not think: “I should be like her.” They think: “I am not like her. I never will be.” Comparison is the fastest way to harden a fixed identity.

What actually works: Progress before comparison

-Summit Programme

What happens across

the four sessions.

08:30 – 09:30 · Session One

What Is Really Happening Inside Your Child

The neuroscience of how a child’s belief about themselves determines their academic performance — explained in plain language, with examples from Kenya’s classrooms. By the end of this session, every parent understands exactly why effort, tutoring, and pressure have produced limited results — and what the real variable is.

Education · No Jargon

09:30 – 10:30 · Session Two

The Four Things Good Parents Do That Quietly Block Their Child

The specific parenting patterns — all well-intentioned, all common among engaged Kenyan parents — that inadvertently reinforce a child’s limiting beliefs. Includes the exact language that damages and the exact language that builds. Every parent leaves this session with at least one thing they will immediately stop doing and one thing they will immediately start.

Practical · Immediately Applicable

10:30 – 11:30 · Session Three

The PEAK Parent Toolkit — What to Say, When to Say It

Six specific tools every parent can use immediately: how to talk about a bad grade without triggering shame, how to build study motivation without pressure, how to have a performance conversation after an exam, how to respond when your child says “I can’t do this,” how to set expectations that stretch without crushing, and how to become the person your child wants to perform for.

Six Practical Tools · Scripts Included

11:30 – 12:30 · Session Four

Your Child's Programme — Understanding Your Options

A clear, honest explanation of PPI’s student programmes — Genius Activator™ for ages 5–10 and Performance Accelerator™ for ages 11–18. How each programme works, what a parent can expect to see and when, how to know if your child is ready, and how to enrol. No pressure. No hard sell. Every parent who wants more information receives a private consultation booking before they leave.

Information · Optional Consultation

Reserve Your Family's Place

Per family. One Saturday morning.

A different conversation with your child.

Both parents are welcome on the same ticket. The summit is designed for couples — because the most powerful thing PPI can do is align both parents around the same approach. Children with two aligned parents outperform children with only one.

-Parents Who've Been Here

What changed when

parents changed.

“My son used to doze off in class. After PPI, the transformation was complete. He scored straight A’s. Today he is at the University of Nairobi studying Law. PPI changed our entire family’s story.”

Proud Father

Nairobi · Son now at UoN School of Law

“My son’s maths jumped from 40% to 70% — and he started attending music lessons voluntarily. PPI helped him channel his energy positively. Best investment we have made in his future.”

Phylis Macharia

Parent · Nairobi

“My prayer is for PPI to be officially included in our educational system — to help mould every child in this country. What they do is not tutoring. It is transformation. And it starts with how the parent shows up.”

Your people are not

underperforming.

Their programming is.

Every major initiative you have launched has been executed by people running internal software that was set before they joined you. Culture declarations don’t change it. Retreats don’t change it. Performance management doesn’t change it. The PEAK System™ changes it — at the root.

  • Leadership Performance — engineering the belief architecture of your senior team
  • SalesInferno™ — fixing the psychology of selling before touching the skills

“The PEAK System™ produced results we had not seen from any other programme. The transformation in confidence, focus, and academic performance was measurable and lasting.”

Every school has students

failing for reasons

teachers cannot fix.

Intelligence is not the variable. Identity, self-belief, and confidence are. Alliance Girls High School — one of Kenya’s most elite national schools — brought PPI in for students their own teachers had given up on. 100% improved. Average gain: 3.6 grade levels. In two months.

  • PEAK School™ — whole-institution culture of excellence, not a one-off event
  • Targeted cohort intervention — bottom KCSE candidates transformed in one term
  • Teaching Edge™ — raising teacher performance and confidence simultaneously
  • Board-ready outcome reporting — pre/post data your board can present to parents
  • Trusted by Kenya High, Alliance Girls, Makini, Riara, and 50+ schools across East Africa
-For Parents

Your child is not

behind. Their internal

story is wrong.

When a child says “I’m just not smart” — they mean it. That belief is running their academic performance as reliably as any piece of software runs a computer. Tutoring changes the content. PPI changes the programme. The results — from D+ to straight A’s, from last in class to national top scorer — are documented, named, and verifiable.

  • Genius Activator™ — ages 5–10, building the love of learning before bad habits set in
  • Performance Accelerator™ — ages 11–18, three levels of identity and exam performance
  • PEAK Parent™ — coaching for parents to reinforce progress at home
  • Holiday and weekday intensive formats — minimum disruption to school calendar
  • Every child who completes a PPI programme improves. Not most. Every one.

-The Architect

“People don’t fail because they lack ability. They fail because they are running a story — an old, inherited programme — that says they can’t. Rewrite the programme, and you rewrite the results.”

Coach James Gitau founded Peak Performance International in 2000 with a conviction that has not changed in 25 years: every underperforming person, team, and organisation has more inside them than they have ever expressed. The problem is never capability. It is always the internal programming that either releases or restricts human potential.

For a quarter century, Coach James has been Africa’s most relentless practitioner of that truth — working with students, C-suite executives, government institutions, and schools across Kenya, East Africa, and five continents. He is not a motivational speaker. He is a performance architect. There is a measurable difference.
