Growth Lead
Marketing, Campaigns & Public Engagement

Type

Compensation
KES 140,000 – 180,000 / month + bonuses
“There is a parent in Nakuru whose child is struggling. A parent in Mombasa who has never heard of PEAK. A parent in Kisumu who is looking for something better than tuition. Your job is to reach all of them.”
Peak Performance International is hiring a Growth Lead to build the demand engine that puts the PEAK Student System in front of every parent, school and educator in Kenya. This is not a social media manager role. This is the person who builds a demand generation machine — across digital, events, media, WhatsApp, radio, school-gate activations and community engagements — and is measured by the leads and enrolments that machine produces. You will build and manage your own media team of contractors and interns. You own strategy, budget and numbers.

Minimum Requirements
(applications not meeting these will not be reviewed)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
- Total experience: Minimum 5 years in marketing, growth or communications
- Lead generation: Minimum 2 years in a role where you personally owned a qualified lead generation target or revenue pipeline contribution — REQUIRED
- Campaign experience: Must have independently planned and executed at least one digital campaign with measurable, documented outcomes
- Market experience: Must have direct experience running campaigns in the Kenyan market
Disqualifiers: Social media coordinators or content creators without strategy ownership. Candidates without documented lead generation or pipeline experience.
What You Will Own
- Two distinct pipelines: school acquisition leads AND independent parent leads (direct-to-family channel)
- Parent awareness and engagement — WhatsApp communities, webinars, parent talks, school forums, church and community events
- Media and PR — securing radio, TV, podcast and newspaper coverage
- Speaking engagements — conferences, parent association meetings, school-owner forums and education events
- Digital campaigns — social media, email sequences, landing pages, funnels and conversion tracking
- Content strategy and calendar — you direct messaging and campaigns; your media team handles production
- Events and activations — school-gate campaigns, campus activations, partner events and webinar series
- Lead generation metrics — qualified leads, webinar attendance, enquiry-to-meeting conversion and database growth
- Building and managing the media team — Social Media Coordinator, Videographer (contract) and Interns
What You Bring
- Proven track record generating measurable leads — not just engagement metrics, but actual pipeline contribution
- Deep understanding of how Kenyan parents consume information and what moves them to act
- Strong writing and messaging ability across channels — WhatsApp, radio, LinkedIn and press releases with equal clarity
- Media and PR capability — you have pitched stories, booked interviews and placed opinion pieces
- Event management and public speaking — you can organise a webinar for 200 parents and host it yourself
- Digital marketing fluency — funnels, landing pages, email sequences, social media advertising and analytics
- Commercial accountability — awareness without conversion is entertainment, not marketing
- Team leadership — you will hire and manage a small media team
Bonus (Not Required)
- Experience marketing education, training, coaching or wellness programmes in East Africa
- Existing media contacts in Kenya — journalists, radio hosts, TV producers
- Understanding of the CBC education landscape and parent concerns
How to apply
Send your CV and a one-page campaign plan: how would you generate 100 qualified parent leads in your first 60 days? Be specific — channels, messages, budget, timeline.
